First artwork and casting info for Silent Night of The Living Dead…

The UK is fast becoming the place to make zombie movies. North Bank Entertainment’s Night of The Living Dead: Resurrection is currently in post production while cameras are still rolling on The Zombie King.

Yes, it seems everyone wants to bring the Undead to Britain and now there is some information available on the latest zombie comedy heading our way, Silent Night of The Living Dead.

STYD have published the first casting information and a poster for the film, which teams director Paul Davis with Severance screenwriter James Moran.

STYD go on to reveal that mustachioed hero, Tom Savini, SFX make-up artist extraordinaire and actor in such films as From Dusk Til Dawn, The Theatre Bizarre and Maniac, has signed on to star alongside AJ Bowen (A Horrible Way To Die, House of The Devil)

Of their involvement director Davis says, “The two will play father and son – as two Americans who have lived in the small British town for the past 15 years.”

Silent Night of The Living Dead tells the story of the residents of a small West Sussex town who barricade themselves in a high school to fend off a zombie horde.

More on this as it comes, definitely. In the meantime, take a look at the awesome poster below.
