1906 sees the birth of prolific horror actor Lon Chaney Jr who has starred in films such as: The Mummy’s Tomb, Son of Dracula, The Ghost of Frankenstein; and of course, the role that became his signature, the wolf man: a character that he portrayed in House of Frankenstein, House of Dracula and naturally 1941′s The Wolf Man.
1926. English Horror Queen Hazel Court is born. Court has starred in numerous horror films including: The Curse of Frankenstein, The Masque of the Red Death, Premature Burial, The Raven, Doctor Blood’s Coffin and many more!
2006 sees the US theatrical release of Final Destination 3 starring horror muse Mary Elizabeth Winstead.
