1948. Ken Foree is born. Foree starred in genre films: Dawn of the Dead (1978), Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre III, The Devil’s Rejects, Zone of the Dead; and Dawn of the Dead (2004). Foree will also be seen in the upcoming Rob Zombie flick, The Lords of Salem.
1956 sees the birth of serial killer Aileen Wuornos. Killer of seven men, Wuornos was executed by lethal injection on October the 9th 2002. Academy Award winning film Monster starring Charlize Theron and Christina Ricci is based on Wuornos’ story.
1960. Richard Ramirez is born. Serial killer Ramirez was dubbed ‘Night Stalker’ by the media and is thought to be responsible for over 14 murders. He is currently awaiting the death penalty in San Quentin Prison, California, USA.
