What better way to start a Saturday morning than with some new posters for Paranormal Activity creator Oren Peli’s latest endeavour, radioactive mutant flick, Chernobyl Diaries.
The synopsis is as follows,
The film follows a group of six young tourists who, looking to go off the beaten path, hire an “extreme tour” guide. Ignoring warnings, he takes them into the city of Pripyat, the former home to the workers of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor, but a deserted town since the disaster more than 25 years ago. After a brief exploration of the abandoned city, however, the group soon finds themselves stranded, only to discover that they are not alone.”
Written and produced by Peli and directed by Brad Parker, Chernobyl Diaries stars Jonathan Sadowski (Friday the 13th (2009), Die Hard 4.0), Devin Kelley, Jesse McCartney, Olivia Taylor Dudley (Chillerama), Nathan Phillips (Wolf Creek, Snakes on a Plane), Ingrid Bolso Berdal (Cold Prey) and Dimitry Diatchenko
The Chernobyl Diaries will be released in the US on May 25th and in the UK on June 22nd.
