1954 sees the birth of pro-wrestler Rowdy Roddy Piper who has starred in genre films such as: Alien Opponent, The Portal, A Gothic Tale, Accursed Blood and the role he is best known for within the genre, that of Nada in John Carpenter’s They Live. 1959. Sean Bean is born. Probably best known for his roles in such movies as Goldeneye and The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Bean has starred in such horror flicks such as: Black Death, The Lost Future, Silent Hill, 2007′s remake of The Hitcher and The Dark.
1988. Veronica Ricci is born. Former Penthouse Pet Ricci has contributed to the genre through her roles in such films as: Bloody Mary 3D, Theatre of the Deranged, Cannibal Blood Girl and will be seen in the upcoming Snake Club: Revenge of the Snake Woman.
