1974 marks the passing of Bud Abbott. Famous for being one half of American comedy duo Abbott and Costello who featured in such films as: Abbott and Costello Meet the Mummy, Abbott and Costello Meet Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, Abbott and Costello Meet the Killer Boris Karloff; and Bud Abbott and Lou Costello Meet Frankenstein starring none other than genre legends Lon Chaney Jr and Bela Lugosi.
