I know that it might seem like Machete Kills is all we are talking about at present, but having just witnessed Shengis Khan’s personal excitement at this (Ewww) and having been made aware of exactly the levels of excitement surrounding Robert Rodriguez’s sequel, I decided, “What the hell. Give the people what they want.”
So with that in mind, how do you fancy some more casting info? Of course you do…
So, we KNOW that Danny Trejo is returning as Machete. We also KNOW that Michelle Rodruguez is returning as Shé AND we now KNOW that “Mad” Mel Gibson will be co-starring as ruthless arms dealer, Luther Voz.
I think we need more eye candy. So step up, Amber Heard!
Variety are reporting that the delicious Ms. Heard (All The Boys Love Mandy Lane, Zombieland, The Ward) is also being courted to appear in the film. No confirmation as yet however, and no word on what her role may be, should she accept.
Machete Kills finds the titular ex-federale recruited by the U.S. government to stop a terrorist named Mendez the Madman, who happens to be Mexico’s leading cartel dealer.
