Another film that has slipped from my mind in the last few months is “clown gone bad” slasher flick, Stitches.
Well, much like the titular character, the film has resurfaced, dragging with it the latest official poster.
The synopsis is as follows,
Stitches is the macabre story of Richard ‘Stitches’ Grindle, a jaded workaday kids’ birthday clown, whose one-liners are witty in a way that’s just not for kids. Stitches falls victim to a fatal party mishap at the hands of a group of particularly nasty children. Years later, the group of now teenagers attend a party at which Stitches is the uninvited guest of honor, returning to avenge his untimely death.
Directed by Conor McMahon (Disturbed, and Dead Meat), Stitches stars British funnyman Ross Noble as the red-nosed killer and Tommy Knight (Dr. Who).
If this film is not super violent and packed to the brim with one-liners, I will be severely disappointed.
More as it comes.
