The Dead director Howard J. Ford turns his attention from zombies to ghosts

I don’t think there is anyone on the AndyErupts team who didn’t love Howard J. Ford’s Africa-based zombie flick, The Dead.

The Dead made zombies feel scary again and showed us a whole new side to zombie film-making, the kind of thing that hadn’t really been seen since Fulci dropped the Undead in the Caribbean in Zombie Flesh Eaters.

So while Ford and his brother, Jon, work on the script for the sequel to The Dead, Howard Ford is keeping his eye in by pressing on with another project, the supernatural thriller, Indelible.

Deadline are reporting that Ford is gearing up for production on Indelible, having written the script himself.

On the project, Ford had the following to say,

“Indelible will not be just any supernatural thriller in the way some think a film like this will play out. When they get to the end of this movie, audiences will not only have felt tension and fear, but I want it to drive thoughts in a way that will hit hard in the head and stay there long after the credits roll.”

Indelible will begin shooting in September as a coproduction between Armory and Mugshot Films.
