1951. Robert Zemeckis is born. Perhaps best known for the Back To The Future franchise and directing Forrest Gump, Zemeckis has contributed to the genre through his directorial work on What Lies Beneath, Death Becomes Her; acting as producer on: House of Wax, Gothika, The Reaping, Ghost Ship and House on Haunted Hill; and contributed to the story for 1996′s Tales from the Crypt: Bordello of Blood.

1962. Danny Huston is born. Huston’s contribution to horror comes from his roles in The Number 23, Children of Men and an excellent turn in the screen adaptation of 30 Days of Night.

1983 sees the birth of Amber Tamblyn who has starred in genre films such as: Blackout, The Grudge 2, Spiral and The Ring.
