1972 sees the birth of the author Max Brooks who is the man behind the successful post-apocalyptic horror novel World War Z; which has been adapted for the big screen by Brad Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment company and is slated for release in summer 2013.
1992. Alien 3 gets its US theatrical release. After a troubled production and multiple names at the helm, Alien 3 marked the directorial debut of David Fincher (Fight Club, Se7en, Panic Room) and went on to make more than $100 million worldwide.
2009 sees the UK release of Tormented, a British horror comedy starring Alex Pettyfer (Beastly, I Am Number Four), April Pearson and Tuppence Middleton.
