1955. Kevin Peter Hall is born. 6’5″ Hall featured in genre films: Without Warning, One Dark Night and Prophecy. However, Hall’s greatest contribution to the genre comes from his performance as the titular character in Predator and Predator 2.
1980 sees the theatrical release of Sean S. Cunningham’s Friday the 13th. A firm favourite of Andy’s, this film spawned numerous stalk n slash imitators, not to mention the numerous sequels in the Friday the 13th franchise and a 2009 reboot.
