1951. Robin Williams is born. Primarily known for his comedic turns such as in Mork and Mindy and lending his voice to the Genie in Disney’s Aladdin, Williams has starred in genre films Insomnia, One Hour Photo and The Night Listener.
1967 marks the passing of Basil Rathbone. Undoubtedly best known for his numerous outings as Sherlock Holmes, Rathbone has contributed to the horror genre through hils roles in: Queen of Blood, The Black Cat, Tales of Terror, The Black Sleep, Son of Frankenstein; and the impossibly titled The Ghost in the Invisible Bikini!
1977. Jaime Murray is born. Murray has starred in horror offerings such as: Devil’s Playground, Botched, The Deaths of Ian Stone and the 2007 TV movie Demons. However, she is probably best known within the genre for her turn as the sociopathic Lila in Dexter.
