1955 sees the birth of Andrew Divoff. A perennial horror favourite for four decades now, Divoff has starred in films such as: The Dead Matter, Nightmare Hostel, Night of the Living Dead 3D: Re-Animation, Neon Maniacs and The Rage; but is undoubtedly best known within the genre for his turn as The Djinn in the first two Wishmaster movies.
1970. Actress Yancy Butler is born. Butler has contributed to the genre through her roles in: Wolvesbayne, Ravager, Basilisk: The Serpent King, Lake Placid 3 and Rage of the Yeti. Butler will be seen in the recently completed Lake Placid: The Final Chapter, alongside Robert Englund.
1993 marks the passing of Fred Gwynne who starred in Stephen King’s Pet Sematary. However, he will always be fondly remembered as Herman in the ever-popular TV series from the 60′s, The Munsters.
