Our man Shengis Khan was hardly blown away by the massively over-hyped summer blockbuster and the same can be said for many, many others.
But is this news surprising? Hardly.
It’s no secret that Prometheus director Ridley Scott and those cunning cats at Twentieth Century Fox always envisioned Prometheus as the first installment in a trilogy.
Today, comes the confirmation as The Hollywood Reporter have confirmed that Twentieth Century Fox are indeed pushing ahead with the next chapter and that Noomi Rapace and Michael Fassbender will reprise their roles.
Fox president of production Emma Watts is quoted as saying, “Ridley is incredibly excited about the movie, but we have to get it right. We can’t rush it”.
A Prometheus sequel would be released in 2014 or 2015
