Grimmfest 2012 early bird tickets on sale, first films announced…

One of the finest horror movie festivals in the UK is preparing to return for its fourth year and if last year’s fest is anything to go by, then we (yes, I will be in attendance) could be in for a treat.

Early bird tickets for Grimmfest 2012 went on sale yesterday at the ABSOLUTE BARGAIN price of £45.00 (+£2 booking fee).

That’s a no brainer, right there, and the tickets are available HERE. Go on then…

If that price wasn’t incentive enough, then the festival organisers have announced that the following three films will be screened as part of the festivities.

One of my favourite films of ALL  TIME, Frank Henenlotter’s BASKET CASE, will be screened in full HD, ahead of its Blu-ray release in October.

Furry Spanish horror comedy ATTACK OF THE WEREWOLVES.

And of course, the recently announced Cabal Cut of Clive Barker’s NIGHTBREED, which at 155 minutes long, is undoubtedly the most complete version of Barker’s 1990 demon flick.

How’s that for starters?

Grimmfest 2012 takes place from October 4th to 7th at The Dancehouse, Manchester.

Check out the official Grimmfest website for more information.
