Ok. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. I REALLY like Dexter but I can’t help but be a little disappointed with it at times.
As I have very publicly stated in the past, I loved the first season but the second and third seasons left me cold and I got worried for the carrot-topped killer.
The fourth season blew all of the others out of the water and I felt good about being a Dexter fan again until the fifth season undid it all by being pretty uninspiring and lacklustre.
The sixth, however, wasn’t too bad at all and if you don’t know how that season ended yet, then I will not be the one to spoil it for you, however, I will say this, season 7 has the potential to be Earth-shattering…and a little weird.
Season 7, the penultimate season, begins in the US on September 30th. The lastest line-up includes Ray Stevenson, Calista Flockhart, Matt Gerald, Yvonne Strahovski, Santiago Cabrera, Jason Gedrick, and Katia Winter who join series regulars; Dexter Morgan himself, Michael C. Hall, Jennifer Carpenter, Desmond Harrington, C.S. Lee, Lauren Vélez, David Zayas, and James Remar.
More as it comes, in the meantime, have a piece of this new poster. It seems that in THIS case, and unusually as this act forms part of Dexter’s ritual, it’s our family man/murderer that is the one with the laceration on his cheek.
