1932, Victor Halperin’s White Zombie, starring Madge Bellamy and the inimitable Bela Lugosi is released in the US.

1960, Bernard Rose is born. London born director Rose has directed several horror films including Snuff Movie and the upcoming sxtape, however, he is undoubtedly most well known as the director of Candyman, starring Virginia Madsen, Xander Berkeley and the wonderful Tony Todd.

1983, Greta Gerwig is born. Californian Gerwig has appeared in such films as Baghead and suffered a terrible fate at the hands of AJ Bowen’s Victor Ulman in Ti West’s The House Of The Devil.
