1935, John Saxon is born.A veteran of over 200 roles, Saxon is perhaps best known for his appearance in Enter The Dragon but has also appeared in Black Christmas, Dario Argento’s Tenebrae and Antonio Margheriti’s Cannibal Apocalypse. Saxon also appeared as Lt. Donald Thompson in A Nightmare On Elm Street and Part III: Dream Warriors. He also appeared as himself in Wes Craven’s New Nightmare 

1951, John Jarratt is born. Australian Jarratt has appeared in genre films such as Shiver, Needle and will soon be seen in Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained. Jarratt is best known for his role as outback psycho Mick Taylor in Wolf Creek (and its upcoming sequel).

1998, Halloween H20, starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Josh Hartnett, receives its US theatrical release.
