The World’s most undesirable motel is gearing up to open it’s doors once again and offer us all a glimpse into the family life that caused young Norman Bates to become the man he grew into.
With shooting set to begin in Vancouver on September 24th, A&E’s 10 part series now has a teaser poster to whet our appetites.
The synopsis is as follows,
“Bates Motel” gives viewers an intimate understanding of how Norman Bates’ psyche developed from his childhood through his teen years. Fans will have access to the dark, twisted backstory and learn first hand how his mother, Norma, and her love damaged Norman, helped forge the most well-known serial killing motel owner in history.
With Vera Farmiga cast in the role of Norma Bates, this could be a pretty interesting little series, leaping into my “must-see” upcoming TV shows, alongside Hannibal.
