With filming underway on Killer Elite director Jose Padilha’s reboot of RoboCop, we begin to wonder what the titular tin-can hero will actually wind up looking like. We have heard rumors that his eyes would be visible and that, with the use of CGI, he would be capable of becoming some sort of tank-y thing.
Well, ComingSoon have managed to secure some set photos that will certainly answer some of those questions, and to be honest, this doesn’t really float my boat. All looks a bit… Batman-ny.
However, if I have learned anything from MANIAC, it is that I shouldn’t judge too harshly. You can still be surprised.

The synopsis is as follows,
The year is 2029, and multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the centre of robot technology. Their drones are winning American wars around the globe, and now they want to bring this technology to the home front.
Alex Murphy is a loving husband, father, and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit. After he is critically injured in the line of duty, OmniCorp utilizes its remarkable science of robotics to save Alex’s life.
He returns to the streets of his beloved city with amazing new abilities but with issues a regular man has never had to face before.
RoboCop stars Joel Kinnaman as Murphy alongside Michael Keaton, Samuel L. Jackson, Gary Oldman, Jay Baruchel, Michael Kenneth Williams, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Abbie Cornish, and Jackie Earle Haley.
