TV horror is big business right now and the new series’ of Dexter, The Walking Dead and American Horror Story all set to start what will no doubt be huge runs, we should take a minute to remember those upcoming horror series.
Take NBC’s Hannibal for starters.
I have been looking forward to this for a while as I genuinely believe that this twisting of Thomas Harris’ universe and its characters could prove to be a pretty interesting affair.
Mads Mikkelsen, steps into the role of Hannibal Lecter (no pressure there then) alongside Hugh Dancy, who plays the role of troubled agent Will Graham, and Laurence Fishburne, who will star as FBI Director of Behavioural Sciences, Jack Crawford. The series also features Caroline Dhavernas as Dr Alana ‘Al’ Bloom, Lara Jean Chorostecki as tabloid hack Freddie Lounds and Ellen Greene as Mrs. Komeda, a novelist, member of Boston’s cultural elite and close pal of Dr. Lecter.
Still no set release date but NBC have released this teaser poster…
