I absolutely adored Troll Hunter. It was a fantastical and oddly childish movie that paints a smile on my face every single time I watch it. The question that has often plagued me since is how on Earth director Andre Ovredal could ever top it?
Well, the answer might just have arrived. Go bigger. Go…ENORMOUS!
THR have reported that Ovredal has teamed up with Adrian Askarieh to bring us an adaptation of Enormous, the Image comic, created and written by Tim Daniel and drawn by Mehdi Cheggour. Enormous is the story of humanity, as it is plunged down the food chain when an ecological event creates gargantuan beasts that decimate civilization.
Askarieh and Ovredal plan on creating a high-end digital Web series, a TV show and a feature film in a bid to tell the enormous Enormous story and explore how humans react and cope with survival from multiple points of views and from multiple settings around the planet.
Sound pretty interesting, eh?
