According to New York Magazine’s Vulture, Warner Brothers are currently in negotiations with Steven Spielberg’s Amblim Entertainment to reboot the 1984 Christmas horror comedy, Gremlins.

Aside from the obvious choice of Frank Capra’s It’s A Wonderful Life, Joe Dante’s 1984 horror-comedy Gremlins is my favourite festive movie. It’s just perfect.
The sequel arrived in 1990 and in the twenty-odd intervening years, there has been intermittent chatter regarding a possible third entry in the series.
